News has normally already been factored in, whether correctly, or intentionally opposite, for a gap and trap.

Regardless. Could show good confirmation. Could swing, who knows. Historically not much movement except for initially, and maybe a gradual increase/decrease for the rest of the day. But some days just flat all day.

For the most part no, but there have been the 2 or 3 days that caused huge swings. So this could be one of those few days, or be normal, where it just goes sideways, maybe a gradual change, as people are cashing out profits for the weekend.
