agree with you 100% - slow controlled growth with limited but targeted (no pun intended) advertising is the right way to go. We're not at the point yet where blanket ads are needed to increase subs just a tad because you have saturated the easy reachable markets already. The return of investment on those campaigns usually is not very good.

Cheers

I agree with you Sent...burning cash just to get the name out there may or may not be effective.Cash should be used on the guaranteed natl awareness they have with CC and others..just satisfy them and let revenues come up to meet the burn rate...then beyond toward profitability.

Well said. What good does it do to attract subs if you can't keep them. IMO let CC/AAFES/sponsorships/word of mouth do the selling and GNF needs to focus on retaining. Once infrastructure is complete/near complete advertise away. I have personnally witnessed what increased infrastructure (opening Maryland DC) has done for their service. Prior to opening that DC turnaround time here flat out sucked and if I were a new sub that didn't know what was coming I would have cancelled my sub. Advertising campaign is coming to Boston soon....perfect considering the MA DC is right there.
