No, Cannavest is a different company that was sort of spun off from MJNA. MJNA sold the CBD production business to CANV in exchange for shares of CANV. MJNA used to buy CBD oil from them but CANV but the relationship soured and now CANV sell the oil direct to consumers themselves and MJNA gets the oil from some other supplier. They are both suing each other for breach of contract.....
And yes, CANV was originally formed by MJNA insiders but was transferred to the current management of CANV.
