Suppose I understood the message from the woman in the red dress as: We offer you 2 months of COMFORT life rather then 6 months of misery.

Then afatanib should provide that otherwise this again makes no sense.
And being BI I'd call PPHM tomorrow if I really have a drug that gives 2nd ln NSCLC patients such full comfort extension and mix it with Bavituximab.

Because if afatanib can really increase comfort that much (the patients could carry on, give presentation, work etc she said) then adding Bavi which has immuno-response may just be what is missing to avoid the reversal back followed by death (as she explained).

I start to see now, by writing the above, why SK thinks about extending the collaborations. The possibilities are end-less.
