(27th April 2015, Hong Kong) China Water Affairs Group Limited (“China Water Affairs” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries known as the “Group”) (stock code: 0855.HK), a leading integrated water service provider in China, is pleased to announce that on 27th April 2015, the Company entered into an Agreement with AIRRO Cayman Holding IV CORP., managed by JP Morgan Asset management Real Asset (Asia) Ltd, and Ms. Lu Hai, to acquire 100% of interest in Goldtrust Water Holdings Ltd. (“Goldtrust”) at the total consideration of US$109.71 Mn in cash, among which, US$17.85 Mn represents payment in exchange for the 9.7% equity interest in Shenzhen Bus Group.

The acquisition, upon completion, will increase the Group’s overall water supply and sewage treatment capacity by 650,000 tons per day to 6.07 Mn tons per day. It is the single largest acquisition of the Group. In addition, the acquisition is also expected to secure 1.13 Mn tons per day increase in overall water supply and sewage treatment capacity in the future.

My understanding is that they have given up wastewater management and are now solely a bottled water company...
