OT: my first spreadsheet?
SuperCalc on a monochrome monitor using the original IBM PC with Intel 8088 mpu and 64K of memory. Two 5" floppies one for SuperCalc the other for data. Ok who can trump that?

Wow, now I get what fpg really meant. You can do spreadsheets with an Intel 8088 equivalent SoC and 64K of memory.

Who needs Atom - let alone Core i3, i5, and i7? Everyone has all the computing power they need already. What we all have is good enough. Noooo, what we had 20 years back is good enough for now....and for the future!

FPG really cracked it. The whole world has been dumb spending money on all machines since 8088!! :)

SynCalc on my Atari 800XL with a 1.79 MHz 6502 processor and 64K of memory.

FPG is talking about plugging a device into your TV in order to turn it into a computer. Been there, done that with my Atari. Others with their Commodore 64.
