This comment from SI is an outright LIE.

I can swear under oath that SI can edit posts should they choose to do so. It is not technically impossible as they would like us to believe.

A couple of years ago I had asked a former SI Admin to correct a post in which I had used a wrong word. The word I had used signified the opposite of what I really intended to express. A couple of days later, I realized my mistake while rereading my post. I asked the former Admin to change the word for me. He did so, although reluctantly.

I will provide a link to that post to proper authority should the need arise.
