My 401k broker can't be changed, and doesn't allow it. But my personal is through sharebuilder, which I initially got in because of the 6.95 trade fees, but have been talking with other brokers with different promos, and still calling back and forth, as some are offering me the same trade fee to switch + get the promo as well.
So I'll be switching. As others offer better platforms, free L2, better apps. pre market/post market trading, etc.
