Skunky, you speculate that 200k people saw that float. But keep in mind that the parade was in Manhattan, where I live.

Therefore, chances are at least ¾ of them are either nuts, homeless, wine-enthusiasts, pickpockets, purse-snatchers, freaks, bipolars, the formerly abused, the heavily medicated or the prematurely de-institutionalized.

The rest don't get cable.

Of the 200k to 400k who saw that float in Boston, how many lived in the Boston area where QTN was available? And of those, how many had cable television? And of those, how many had RCN cable? As we know, RCN serves less than half of the Boston cable television market. So what are the chances that every single one of those 200k to 400k was a potential QTN subscriber? Zero. And some of those who saw that float are living together, and thus would share a subscription if it were available. And as we also were told by Jonboi, for every five subscriptions to QTN, there were three to four cancellations. So the 200K to 400k number doesn't really tell us anything.
