They can't get one size to work continuously without breaking down. So now they're going to manufacture different sizes just because it sounds good? <sigh>

Maybe one type of machine could be installed on a ship...oh yeah...that pump has already run its course

Maybe a unit that fits in the trunk of a car, like a the 'Back to the Future' car would be a big seller. Instead of a fusion reactor there would be a little PTO machine. Think of the market for tens of millions of millions of these.

My favorite 'style' machine would be a self propelled gopher type. Turn that baby loose in a covered / buried landfill and stand back to watch it burrow its way through mounds of 'buried liquid gold'

I've always thought that different size/style machines for each client would make sense, instead of one size fits all. So, that would make sense to manufacture themselves.

Anybody remember the business model where Johnny was going to read tapes from NASA and once read they were going to be feedstock for the "beasts from the east"? The only problem turned out to be there were not many tapes to read despite the "monopoly" and the machines can barely process plastic without boatloads of oil. And even then they barely run.

I have to say I do like the self-propelled gopher processor proposed as well.
