AMZN, TSLA, NFLX, AAPL, GOOG are some big ones. I personally like playing WYNN and IBM. Social media tickers are popular to play (LNKD, FB, TWTR). BABA, BIDU, CMG, YELP, Z are some other ones that I follow and play sometimes.
I think it's wise to pick a few that might interest you and really learn how to trade those. So many stocks, you can't watch 'em all, and spreading yourself too thin actually makes it difficult to understand what's happening on any given day imo
