I agree x1 HACK is not the future-it-is-now
I took my semi automated home off the grid for just that reason. Sure it's cool to watch your dog detroy your livingroom on your IPHONE but too riskey. I am now working on a two part system that will be both analog and digital. It requires a phonecall to a device that will give me acess when I want it then cut the line so to speak when finished. Remote control will not be possible without 64 bit encryption and a bunch of work by outsiders.
