#1815 RE: finrafriend #1814

Thanks. I read most but not all of it. I didn't see where it said the CEO reports to the COO nor did I read where it says the staff couldn't talk to the CEO. Maybe it is in there but I didn't see it.

BUT, it is very telling IMO.

First, clearly it gives almost ALL power over to a part time COO consultant! It also says 'we must transfer power to root out the issues'. This say to me that there were significant conflicts between the former CEO and the employees--maybe the entire company. It also says he was either wanting out or being forced out by others as far back as DEC 2012.

So, unlike what I had thought, this was not a surprise 'overthrow' in early 2014. It was long in coming.

What did the former CEO do with his time in 2013? What was left for him to do? It appears he gave all company operation over to Dennis, while only giving him 16 hours a week to do it, and then he also agreed to an outrageous compensation? Who is to blame for that - the recipient or the CEO who agreed to it? This makes no sense to me. You say 'No wonder the CEO got fed up'. Didn't he agree to it? Are you saying he was 'forced' to agree to it? If so, by whom?

Very odd. 'Root out the issues'. Something was very bad, and it implies to me that at least part of it was strongly fractured relationships between the CEO and the employees.

Would love to hear from employees..but I assume that isn't going to happen.
