rstring: Despite DABOSS's attempt to use EDIGspeak to make it seem like HP is a parner of EDIG, why don't you write to RP as NEWe.LONG did and ask for clarification. RP clarified it for him that EDIG is a subcontractor of Softeq on the IR earphones. Even RP isn't trying to claim that HP is e.Digital's partner. Also, the partner page on the web site lists Softeq as a partner, but not HP. You know they list anyone they can on that page, including Toshiba and Samsung.
Perhaps DABOSS doesn't want to get similar clarification because it makes it harder for him to promote the idea tha EDIG might be involved with some of the other products that HP is introducing (his favorite "connect the dots" strategy).
If you want to know the truth of the situation, contact RP yourself. The PRs often imply much more than the facts of the matter. Hopefully, you know this by now.
