Annual Report (10-k)
Date : 10/15/2013 @ 6:07AM
Source : Edgar (US Regulatory)
Stock : Quantum Materials Corp. (QB) (QTMM)
Quote : 0.146 0.0 (0.00%) @ 7:05AM

The Company is preparing to enter the next phase of its development – production and supply of commercial scale volumes of TQDs to potential customers and joint ventures in order to develop a platform of initial customers in various industries. In order to finance the development of its business, including the establishment of its continuous process manufacturing facility, purchase of the first two equipment units and the expansion of its marketing and sales capabilities, the Company will be seeking additional investment capital. Provided this capital raise is successful and can be accomplished in the fourth quarter of 2013, the Company expects to commence generating limited revenues from the production of TQDs at the Wet Lab in the first quarter of 2014. Such revenues are expected to be modest at first and will be dependent upon the Company generating purchase orders from potential customers currently under NDAs and evaluating the Company’s technology. As part of this strategy, the Company has engaged in discussions with numerous target customers and has signed a number of NDAs and Sample Agreements to increase the probability of receiving firm orders from one or more of these entities.

Kinnaree...I have come to view any revenue timelines & projections coming from mngmt as being more in the 'hopeful' category (as-in; if all goes as planned). There have been & continue to be setbacks (as with the envisioned 2009 QMC Saudi solar factory) driven by factors we can only guess at. Companies (typically) only PR positives , & spare us details on things that didn't pan-out (although it would be nice if they did so we could see the whole picture). And like others, I long for the day when all the 'could, should & might's' are replaced with 'is, will & did'. On the flipside; I see QMC still being very much in-the-game & as being a viable contender, based on known facts. They have the tech w/ the patents to back it up...they continue to move forward w/ facilities, equipment & brainpower/staff acquisitions...have acquire subordinate financing...they are aggressive in marketing & they are much more reserved in diluting their stock than the atypical pinky shams, scams &/or failed enterprises (our SS doesn't count in the billions, as would typically be the case after 7yrs of trading a loser). That's the way I see it anyway.
