lmorovan,

"No, what I am saying that what the Bible does not teach, we should not do."

Should we discuss the Bible on a internet message board?

Should we have baby showers for soon to be mother's?

Should we be able to go to a movie?

Can we eat ice cream?

Should we use a microwave to heat our food?

Not everything is morally right or morally wrong. If celebrating someone's birthday was a sin against the will of God, He would have revealed it directly or through principle, He did not.

As excel said, you are wandering into legalism and it is not a term to defend or justify sinful things.

1 Corinthians 6:12

12 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.

The book of Galatians deals with legalism.

excel, when your questions address the issue that I am presenting, I answer them.

Because of your lack of understanding the subject do not try to twist it.

No, what I am saying that what the Bible does not teach, we should not do. Likewise, we should do what the Bible do teach us.

WOW! I can't believe u made that statement.
No motorcycles? Cars?
Never saw Jesus teach me nothing about those. Get my point?

we stole it in the Garden of Eden.

Whattttttttttttttt?
The things u say when pressed with common sense truly amazes me.

Of course I heard the term "legalistic". It is frequently used defensively when we want to justify things that are not taught in the Bible.

Defensively?
Heard of freedom God gave u in the new testament?

To take every page of the bible and read it. Then say because CD's aren't in there by golly those CD's u have with sermons on them must be a bad thing huh?

Justify? How about common sense.
