If I was an investor in XYZ Corp and then later became a compensated corrupt compensated stock promoter, it does not absolve me of my liability for engaging in a conspiracy to manipulate share prices and aid in securities fraud.
If that were the case, EVERY crook would simply buy a few shares of a pennyscam BEFORE beginning a paid tout gig and say "hay, I'm immunized now".
