Not necessarily. Filling the gap depends on how much buying interest the stock has. MMs will always try to fill the gaps, but if bid support is too strong, then they really can't force it down. But without volume and buying interest, them and the shorts could have their way.
Right now interest in MCP is high and with SIEMENS deal and other potential contracts, I highly doubt we will go below 0.83 again.
