Yes you are right ! with desert air dewpoints far below air temp a cooling of air by adding water but no condensing into clouds or fog in tower. not going to lower air temp below dewpoint to create fog otherwise known as clouds

What? That's not what SWET says. SWET says it takes pages and pages of complex arithmetic to model this giant straw in the wind. I heard it was so complicated that one couldn't possibly work it out by hand and that powerful computers are needed.
