You are confused if you think the only purpose of going public is raising money period. The purpose of going public is to grow the company, and increase stakeholder value, which does take money. The purpose of going public is not to line the pockets of insider/relatives. Huge difference.

Yes to usually take the company to the next level. This company had nothing as in 0 products and millions went to the CEO to buy personal property. Oh and I guess he says he put in this money from selling his own stock back into the company at some crazy interest rate. Bill say he invests in himself.
