I was responding specifically regarding the engr talent, obviously the backbone of any tech company.

wrt the execs, my comment is that the same special personality elements of being able to be satifisfied with indirect product success is also present. Thus, in si valley, need extra incentives for quality execs given the competition with other companies for them.

my main issue is the unfortunate communication style by HH and the exec selling with no regard to impact on results given the idiotic fasb rule now being followed - which they should be aware of. imo, the 8m option number of the new plan is to be prepared for increased hiring to support customers, but i am guessing and i should not have to.
