I read on the Internet last year that half of the people in this great country either have no savings at all or else less than $500. That astonishes me, and saddens me as well. I couldn't live that way. Over 150 million people without savings? Saving money has been my religion. I live in Las Vegas but I have never gambled a cent. Now I am gambling on silver? Yes, but I can afford it. Win or lose won't affect my simple lifestyle at all. And I will continue to save every month.
