Pierson said the company will pay bonuses if YRC Freight and the regional companies — Reddaway, New Penn and Holland — report certain operating ratios. Pierson said the goal is a 97 percent or better operating ratio for YRC Freight and 95 percent or better operating ratio for the regional carriers. The more profitable the segments are, the higher the bonus will be.
