#147317 RE: webpence #147316

I think it's simply that IR is asked a question and given an answer.

I agree but maybe before he answers a question like that he should try remembering saying they needed a site visit before they can get a 43-101.
He knows how the system works. He knows what people will do with half truths and speculation.
The innocent admission that we will have a site visit Easter Sunday is pretty specific don't you think?

And then it doesn't happen.

What did he expect would happen the prior to then?
Same thing with the Jan or Feb thing. A nice spike and a following price bleed.

We had a site visit. So what? It's not a material event, and it doesn't merit a PR.

You are right. It doesn't merit anything. It also doesn't merit mention before it ever happens right?

Question: When will we have a 43-101?

Answer: We will have it as soon as we can get a QP to the site and he writes up the report.

That would be a perfect answer. It was the most likely answer given as well

Question: When will he visit the site.

Answer: Easter Sunday there will be a break in the weather and he will be going then.

Wrong answer.
If the IR has stated the 43-101 will be done when the QP has the chance to get to the site and he answers in this manner he is telling the person when the 43-101 will be done.

Correct answer: At the current time the weather is the biggest deterrent to a site visit. We hope to have him able to visit the site in the very near future. We will let the share holders know as soon as we can once the visit is over.

This would also be the perfect answer and IMO the most likely answer given.

So the question that matters is if the rumors are nothing more than made up stories?

If they are not made up then Dan is fully aware of what his answers will do and is walking a dangerous line.

To set up the site to host this type of information would require some work to do, and it would be above and beyond what any exploration companies I've seen are doing. Who would be tasked with maintaining it? Dan? Why not, he's already CFO , Pres, and IR, so he could be site admin too?

It doesn't take anything to set up a place on the website to ask questions. They already do that with an email address.
Difference being when they are asked a non material question like when will the site visit be, the answer would be posted on the companys official web site and not just be a rumor on the favored message board.

And please....CFO, IR, President, CEO, Best friend, baby sitter..... All the titles you want add up to no work at all when you are just sitting around waiting on the weather to blow the right way for you.
