He doesn't say what substantial return means? How many $B more? No mention about transperancy, executive privilege taken by President himself or someone else?
Grassley asked them to respond by # 1-5. And they keep saying enormous risk, well giving the first credit card to a college kid is also a risk, don't u think? :) student loan is a risk too....

huh?

I had student loans (old enough to call them NSDL loans)

They helped a lot

I paid them off like tons of people

Why would the GOV loan have any impact if paid back in full?

And where there is any forgiveness on a mortgage (interest or principal) it is a two party arrangement. The bank speaking for the bank and the borrower speaking for the borrower. (Here we did not have two parties IMO at time of third amendment and that is a key part of the Sweeny discovery))

So if the bank said hey we will reduce A B and C but you must do D E and F - why does anyone after that owe anyone anything. I am not a lawyer but that seems like a revised debenture contract with new mutually agree to terms - and both parties gained CONSIDERATION --- another requirement of a just contract

here
no consideration (at least so far) for us owners
and
IMO and that of our attornies not an arrangement made by two independent - independent - parties (if Treasury ran FHFA decision making there is no third amendment - no consideration no two parties - at least that is what I have gleaned from this board)
