Optimum Nutrition has it's manufacturing in Illinois, so where do you think it gets most of it's whey protein from?
Glanbia makes and sells whey protein in both Europe and America, but it's products don't use any higher or lower quality than any of it's US competitors.....it just got a cost advantage by vertical integration, that's all.
