I can see that happening.. Yes Iran by themselves does not amount to a threat however Russia's involvement with them could end badly.... Now that we are training the Ukrainians to fight Russian backed rebels... Well why not have a Cold War gulf of Aden style..... And I absolutely agree that I do not wish to see this play out... This is has world war three type potential.... Hopefully it will end as "peacefully" as the first Cold War ended but I don't have much faith that it would.... Not to mention we keep pissing off our Middle East allies... Potentially our only help in the region... These guys switch sides like daily wear... Who says they won't all just get fed up enough just to say f the West...?
