Just goes to show the Dow Jones could be 50k and have no reflection on the common man. What I think Americans are concerned with is one simple fact....
From the founding of this Country to 2008 the deficit was a couple trillion. In 8 shorts years out of all the other years since inception it has now tripled. Heres the shocker, the wealthy have also tripled their wealth in the past 8 years.
So, what does that say? Father has turned against son just like the Bible said would happen. What am I saying? Theirs not going to be any transfer of wealth to the next generations sons. That simply means your children will for the most part never be able to retire. The relay batyon that we passed for generation after generation has now ended and mankind is no longer handing over anything to his sons. Its basically every man for himself. Do you also realize it would take 3 times as long since inception to put that money back into the hands of the men who would do that?
One day, their will be a civil war and you cant blame the young men for doing so. They wont have anything to work for.
