I disagree. I think that the subscription thing WAS the way to go..for lack of better terms, it allowed Q to be 'gay-er", AND it avoided the potential backlash of 'gayness on public airwaves' that LOGO deals with (tho...it's minimal).
Plain and simple..what killed Q was Frank's COMPLETE LACK OF FISCAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND RESPONSIBLITY. He completely mismanaged funds (as well as lied to shareholders). Q HAD the money to last a very long time..to develop content, etc..but mgmt let expenses get WAY out of hand.
