Cassandra ... Right! you are again ...

but you never seem to acknowledge, perhaps, the most important part ...

Q: I was excited to read about Edigital`s partnership with Softeq and Hewlett Packard. Please let us know whether Hewlett Packard is committing any funds to the project

A: (FF) Absolutely! Per my presentation this partnership with Softeq, as well as the connection with HP and with the ultimate OEM customer provide a significant revenue source for us. HP commissioned the first product and is funding it. e.Digital is a subcontractor and is paid through Softeq.
[2-26-03 FAQ]

Seeing that you know so much about this project, do you have an opinion on who the "OEM customer" might be ?? If so, would you be kind enough to share your opinion with us ??

I`m curious, too, as to why they retained the "iPAQ" name for their line of PDAs ... any ideas ??

TIA

NEWe.LONG

P.S. I was going to bring up your suspicion about e.Digital not being covered by the Softeq letter of credit, but I guess we`ll find out soon enough whether, or not, the Company should be concerned about getting paid on this $1,000,000+ contract, right ??

EDIG and Softeq have agreed to form a partnership. An early customer of the PARTNERSHIP is Hewlett-Packard.

Some like to play games and make issues about little subtleties in language but most understand the big picture.

From the official PR:

(SAN DIEGO, CA - February 19, 2003) - e.Digital Corporation (OTC: EDIG) and independent systems integrator Softeq Development Corporation have entered into an agreement to partner on the development of new products for the digital audio market.

The agreement paves the way for the companies to collaborate on the development of products using e.Digital's patented MicroOSTM technology and applying its expertise in portable product design

An early customer of the partnership is Hewlett-Packard, who is working with the companies to explore opportunities for future digital audio products.
