I have just caught up with the posts here and I ran across several of them that seems to be a concern.

Would you please tell me if you have ever had, or have another alias now,(which I am sure has been cancelled out)which you posted under here on iHub? I know that you are the only one who can answer that question.

It seems to me that it is an important question that needs to be answered so that everyone in iHub community knows for the record. Your answer will also tame that JB guy who is asking you. He seems to be persistent and it appears they are ganging up on him because of this. Your answer will calm the waters here, and if you can't answer because your on a boat or somewhere relaxing, why not ask Matt to relay the answer so this thread can move on without all the anger that is in some of the posts here.

Perhaps you did, just as others' did, but now the rules have changed.

I think you would like to share that information, but perhaps you really are not ignoring the question, you just took the day off to enjoy some time for yourself after the tedious time you had here being straightforward with answers when questions were asked of you.

I do not post under any other alias, have never had another alias, do not intend to attempt to get one either.

One day, the decision makers of a little growing company had different views on certain corporate policies. They gathered in conference to see how this might be addressed. They had several viewpoints that seemed to be valid, but they were not sure exactly the effects of the policies and the enforcement thereof. After debating the different views, the parties all agreed that they should address the issue head on, and review the results before any final policy decisions were made. The outcome of this very important meeting was a very simple one. Let’s send out a Mystery Scammer, and evaluate how our company is doing. The members of that meeting unanimously agreed that a Mystery Scammer was going to be sent out to the place of business of the corporation, and pretend to be simulating different experiences. It would seem as if the staff and the “Rules and Regulations” were well followed and capable of fooling the public. As the Mystery Scammer arrived to the place of business, this new consumer was being too revealing of the company's difficulties and annoying the scammer attempting to act as if he were judging the reaction of the public of the enterprise. Many situations were simulated. As it became evident that this Mystery Scammer may be annoying too many individuals, the decision makers reunited for a discussion of the Mystery Scammer's actions. Policies and opinions were once again discussed. None of the staff’s actions changed. They agreed to let things play out and continue the marketing experience, to investigate the outcomes. They felt that this would help in the scam-making decisions. As events regarding the Mystery Scammer unfolded, the public was now aware on this individual's game, which seemed to be getting counter productive for the on going business of the company, once again there was a meeting of the minds. They all agreed that the Mystery Scammer's duties should be terminated, and assess the problems with the current policies that were in place and develop new ones to handle this, as well as new aliases.

I would like to ask people what they think of this story. I am aware that many corporations have similar methods to scam their public, and I feel it’s the wrong way to act in a public forum.. An example of this, is a certain on-line discussion forum, where they may send individuals with different aliases to evaluate how their system and level of honesty can be ignored, without implementing changes to their practices.

Are they misleading individuals? Or are they just fooling nobody and shooting themselves in the foot?
