I think the majority of the shares have been locked up. The low volume scares the day traders, therefore they take a lost on a few tick rather then stay with a position longer then a day or 2.
The rest of the sideliners are waiting it out till some actual news does hit, as most like to play the chase as part of their strategy.
Do you watch SharkTank? There is no such thing as "almost" with big investors! Once the news comes they will buy in.
Those of us invested now are just taking a gamble with a higher reward. The low vol in my opinion is good as it means there is no big selling. It's only been minimum whacks at the bid. No big dumps.
