There's a correlation, not sure why.

Less money being spent on staffers means more money available for raises and bonuses for top management. The correlation may be that simple.

It is of interest that ARQL's CEO earns almost as much as CEOs of ENTA and CLVS combined.

As I indicated some time ago, IMHO, good many biotech CEOs are exclusively in a business of self enrichment.
