If anything this gives the market makers a chance to build a wall at the bid. On dips they accumulate sell orders and then sell their shares into demand, which pushes up the price of the stock.
Put simply, the market makers would be making a big mistake if they took a short position. If we get another news release the stock will go even higher. And the momentum from today will continue through tomorrow even if we do not get another news release tomorrow.
