Then why set a closing date, or two or three?? Why say a date at all or why did they update shareholders on new dates if that just what happens in real estate? Below are the three closing dates that were PRed for the 7,200 square foot retail and commercial property. IMO

"The closing for the purchase of this property is expected to occur on or before January 31, 2015"

"Medican expects to close on the transaction no later than February 18, 2015."

"Both parties are aggressively working together to close on or before March 31, 2015."

I agree with you here..thanks for sharing your experience..the good news with these commercial spaces is there usually isn't a ton of competing offers that you may see with a good residential property - so they (seller) would stick with the potential original deal till the end unless something better came along rather than squash it...
