Not sure how they convert but Mr. Carmichael has 425,000 preferred shares. If I remember correctly from the past, I'm thinking that equates to quite a lot of shares. I definitely think he has enough shares to be interested in the share price, but I also think he does concentrate on running the business being his foremost effort. I do wish he would PR a bit more, though.
