bad idea yankee. Never reveal your cards to the MM. Also nothing works with shorting (cash, margin, certificates) because the MM is not shorting with shares from Cede & Co he is shorting with naked shares. He really never has to cover unless the SEC forces him to via SEC SHO rule.

Yank - mine are locked at .25 (small amount) and 1.00 (large amount of shares). They ain't gettin mine - no how, no way - for less than that - nice try MM's, kiss my grits!!!

YankeeAce everyone thinks that works but it doesn't..the only way you can take that control is to pull certs on your stock and then they are also out of your account and you can't trade until you turn them back in..besides it costs around 40 bucks to do that.

A corrupt MM don't care...so don't worry about it the only way they get squeezed is when there is so much buying pressure they have no other choice but to let the stock rise and then try and cover the shares they have sold.

So whether you place a sell order above the ask or if you have a cash account it really does not matter...and besides its a waste of energy thinking about it...LOL

Just do what you always do..and the markets will do what they always do...your job if you decide to accept it is to beat the market and outsmart it when you can.
