If you're taken in a stock scam expect to receive follow ups from people offering to help you get your money back. Members may show up on stock boards collecting email addresses or even phone numbers for the purpose of contacting the SEC or bringing litigation. At minimum, that will get you on a lot of scam promo mailing lists.

The names of gullible victims are extremely valuable. Some people are born to be taken, over and over. To crooks, such names are gold!

I followed a stock years ago where someone was passing around the contact info of a "Swiss lawyer" who, for a fat fee, was said to be able to get compensation for victims. No doubt it was another scam... actually the third scam involving the same crap stock.

When's the FCPG 10 day suspension up?
