Assuming Knicks got 1st pick in the draft, the key to trading down to 4th through 7th, would be to trading with a team that will still suck bad next year and get their #1 pick in 2016 as compensation for allowing them to take Knicks spot this yr.....I'd love a Cauley Stein at 6 or 7th pick, or Trey Lyles of Kentucky at 6th through 9th.....That kid is going to be a stud offensively and can play defense also, hustles and is polished near the hoop, plus 6ft 10 inch.....

I still can't stop wondering about Justice Winslow in a Knick uniform, but only if we could trade down, I wouldn't pick him with a top 3 draft pick.....but would love to pick him 6th in the draft and have an extra pick first round for moving down.....

To me Defense is needed at two positions (PG and Center), plus one the foward need to be good and you fine with one average and one subpar, because you need to score too in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I'm happy if they all play defense. What I need is a creator to me that is the most important thing, that is why I'm so high on Russell. Melo ain't gonna do it, and lets not have a pipe dream he is going nowhere, and unless your giving dragic close to the max I don't see that playmaker in 2015, and the knicks don't have their pick in 2015 so no benefit of being bad, so might as well try and compete.

You see can't see why the sixers would want a big man. With Emblid and Noel, don't understand why they would be trading up they are fine where they are in my opinion they need guards.
