Years ago my wife and I ate in a restaurant in Sonoma's town square. As you face the William Sonoma store from the opposite side of the town square, this little place is in a previously private small home to your extreme right (in the corner of the square). I don't remember its name, but I still remember the bowl of scallop/seafood chowder that we ate there. It was an unappetizing green color, almost like pea soup. When we tasted it we thought we were eating the "food of the gods". It was years ago so I don't even know if it still exists.

There's also a winery right in the square next to William Sonoma.
