Very interesting Stuff! Could be an excellent fit with MS.

Despite its being around since 2002 I had not heard of this material before this.
It seems obvious that the major drawback of this technology is its weight and mass, but by combining the liquid with a fabric matrix a lesser amount of the liquid is needed so less weight is added to the final product.

For the fabric matrix material, Monster Silk(TM) has several advantages over Kevlar.
MS alone is not a good choice to replace Kevlar in body armor because the extra energy absorption of MS is bought at the price of extra deflection, which would increase back side deformation.

But with the addition of the antiballistic fluid, deflection is minimized, allowing fluid saturated MS to do the whole job.
MS is considerably lighter than Kevlar and considerably more flexible so that the entire protective garment would be easier to wear and less restrictive of movement.

The combination of MS and STF could make practical a whole new paradigm of protection, a whole body anti-ballistic coverall for police and military use with enhanced protection over vital areas and a reasonably good level of protection even over limbs and head (hood) against projectiles, IAD shards, even knives.
A sort of Super Turtle Skin(TM) body armor.
The MS / STF solution in thinner layers could even be incorporated into Business suits for at risk executives and their unobtrusive body guards.
