It's coming. California, New Jersey and I believe one other state (I think Delaware) are implementing a tax rebate for all new homes that are "going green" with high efficiency appliances, insulation and air sealing homes. Check out BG&E's web site. It will be code throughout the nation eventually. Solar will be huge one day too.
