Indeed. Awful trading considering the volume and close that day. The big lots I saw being sold was done through CDEL. That's not a typical diluter. E-trade routes some of their trades through CDEL. Looked more like someone who brought too many shares too high and loaded on the way down, then used Wednesday's 'pump' to unload. By Thursday, CDEL had little to no shares left to sell. A diluter would have continued selling whenever large bids came up. Looked more like retailers selling on the bid when it tried moving up yesterday. That's what I was referring to by the 'panic selling' comment.
Now if you get another huge volume day and the trading yields the same results as it did Wednesday, then this is 'dead in the water'. Folks won't trust what they are seeing.
Next week should be interesting. We'll see.
