If so, then I'm disgusted with the justice system in this country. A kid holding a little drugs goes away for years with a public defender who doesn't give a damn.

A multiple felon stretches his conviction and prison sentence out for years with a variety of increasingly dubious and preposterous legal arguments.

And when all his B.S. runs out? He still gets a couple of months for a vacation before he has to go to jail. Time enough to fleece a few thousand more people out of their life's savings.
