That's an interesting question. At minimum, we know that Pfizer has embraced the agonist/antagonist combination approach to abuse deterrent technology and that this approach is the most similar to the technology that Elite owns. During the CC when Nasrat mentioned this my understanding is that Nasrat was explaining that Pfizer, given Embedas approval, would be the company educating the medical community on the benefits of the combination approach Elite and Pfizer uses.
Thus, by the time Elite launches its first ADT - Pfizer will have already greased the wheel for us. I do believe this is what Nasrat meant.
Saying this I can't believe either Purdue or Pfizer wasn't one of the two companies that came knocking on Nasrat's door to discuss Elite's technology.
Here's the thing........I do think one of those companies was Purdue given Purdue's recent court nightmares in Kentucky. And we'll find out soon enough when Elite files that NDA.
