We have been over why Geekbench sucks a lot(too much reliance on SHA optimizations and AES and obsolete stuff like mandelbrot). But even given that, those scores tell us nothing.
My Core i7 3770 gets: 3414: Single Core 13197: Multicore.
Both those scores beat the 4770K in that piece and Skylake. And yes it is the non-K, non overclocked version.
My STOCK Core i7 4790K gets: 3895: Single Core 15062 Multicore.
Edit: Actually I reread it and they did disable the turbo for some bizzare reason. WTF?
