Inergetics was smart to not make any claims on their Nulief packaging and I like how Jim Kras answered the question in that article from Nutra Ingredients USA. He said: "We are making no claims because we are very early in the ingredients life. It will be like other ingredients like Garcinia Cambogia, where people are aware of the ingredient but aren't really associating it with a brand"

Given the crackdown by the FDA on all the claims being made on these other CBD products online, it would be wise to avoid any potential problems with the FDA right now until the product and its ingredients are better defined in the future. In other words, they don't want to make any specific claims until it can be proven that specific CBD ingredients cause a certain desired effect. That doesn't mean they have to go through the expense of conducting expensive research or trials, but rather to wait until the medical marijuana experts have the specific data that is backed up by human trials to support the claims. Fortunately our Scientific & Medical Advisory Board works and studies in this area that will eventually have additional data and trials that is accepted by the FDA as proof positive that a certain combination in a certain dose of a CBD-based product will usually provide a certain effect.

Our Advisory Board has many years of research and experience with the different combinations of CBD, extracted in a particular way that gives them the confidence to help create NRTI's CBD supplements. Basically it means they have enough data to support it, but not enough large trials to make it absolutely conclusive enough for the FDA. Once there is enough data to support certain effects by the FDA, they will allow a broad area of claims that are supported. However, as with Garcinia Cambogia, there will be a wide array of products with differing amounts of the active ingredient and the purity of the ingredient to get the best desired effect.

In lay terms, it means that there are numerous products with Garcinia Cambogia, but only a few who have the right purity and strength to provide the ultimate effect. That will be the same for CBD when it gets to that stage. When it does, the unique process that NRTI has taken will be considered the gold standard to produce the best possible outcomes. Others may provide efficacy, but not at the same level. This is what Jim Kras was eluding to when he said "We are making no claims because we are very early in the ingredients life". With NRTI it has always been about gold standard products, which provide the best possible outcomes. The same will apply for their CBD products that will provide the best possible outcome based on the purity, quantity and quality of the ingredients, extracted the right way and combined to deliver the best efficacy and safety for consumers.

Just as Dr. Oz told consumers what to look for when buying Garcinia Cambogia, I suspect the same will apply for CBD also. With Garcinia Cambogia, only three companies stood out as the ones who created their products to meet the highest standards to produce the best results.

We are early to market with our CBD, but not too early to make all the mistakes seen by those who rushed to throw something together in a hurry and make wild claims that the FDA is attacking. Right now we couldn't be in a better position with our CBD Initiative. As this progresses we will have the support and important endorsements to separate us from the competition, by being the GOLD STANDARD in CBD Supplements. Cheers!
