Amateur you make a sound case for trading CTIX. As an investor I'd be afraid to be holding funds out when an off hours announcement is made regarding a partnership deal is inked. In my humble opinion the 30 cent drop that some might be waiting for will be obliterated by the dollar multiples upon the next days opening after such announcement. Just my opinion of course.
Personally I like your post as I agree one can wait for the return of an uptrend. However, assuming we do go into an uptrend it will soon surpass any purchases I've made and all will be good again.
The person who raved over Ella Ruth's blog this morning should be aware she is free to speculate where as Leo is not.
One fact I'm looking forward too is that in maybe a year the majority of CTIX shares will be held by institutions who do not post "CTIX's cup is half empty" posts in hopes of creating doubt in other investors minds in order to get a lower PPS.
I guess you would have been seller of stock market in March 2009 when smart money was loading up at bargain prices. Takes two sides to make a market. Buffett, Graham, Peter Lynch and all the other extraordinary investors have made a fortune buying great companies with amazing futures at fantastic discounts from myopic fools with lack that intuitive talent to strike when the moment is right.
This completely ignores the roughly 5M shares that will have to be bought by the various index funds if the company uplists before the end of May. (I expect the uplist announcement to come in the next 3 weeks). Compare that 5M figure to average daily volume. Also, I don't expect many smooth turns in this stock. More likely large stair step moves on significant news events that hit pre-market. With the very real potential of being added to the Russell index in June (signaled by an uplist that probably comes this month) in combination with all the other potential catalysts coming this month, I can not imagine why anyone would risk being out of the stock for what they think might net them 20 cents or so.
I (and few others) have a logic that unless there is a strong positive news on Uplisting or partnership - SP will continue to go down further
