It is interesting, yet unsurprising that Elite has garnered inquiries from larger firms. It is also unsurprising that Nasrat would indicate a willingness to "go it alone"; which, supported by their expansion of manufacturing capabilities, is a threat (yes, it is a competitive threat to existing pain med firms and it would be noted as such on the SWOT analyses completed by those firms). And, it is a necessary part of the negotiating process. If Nasrat did not indicate as much, he would not be acting in the best interests of shareholders. Whether we are discussing a partnership or being acquired, the best price lies with effective negotiations. So, I give him less credit for courage and more for negotiating acumen.
