You are heavily overestimating the effect of DOOM III as a decisive factor for AMD´s processor sales. If DOOM III does perform better on A64 than P4 (and I´m pretty sure it won´t), the difference will be negligible at best. Graphics card sales may be a slightly different matter. Apart from that, Half-Life2 seems to be a much more interesting game, and I´m sure that will be reflected in its sales numbers.
